About Kathleen D. Early, MPA, PA-C, ATC/L
Kathleen is a board-certified physician assistant who works primarily with Dr. Gallagher in orthopedic trauma and general orthopedics. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Kathleen graduated cum laude from University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) in 2013 with Bachelor's degrees in Athletic Training and Exercise & Sport Science and a minor in Spanish. She has experience working as a certified athletic trainer for Augusta University, University of Georgia Recreational Sports, North Augusta High School and Nike Elite Youth Basketball League. Kathleen received her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Augusta University in 2016 and soon began working at Augusta Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Specialists. Kathleen's professional interests include assisting in surgery, fracture care, and total joint replacement. She also enjoys teaching current and prospective PA students. In her free time, Kathleen enjoys going to the gym, playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends, including her niece, Jaslene.
