Augusta Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists is pleased to announce our merger with 4 Aiken, SC-based surgeons to form Augusta-Aiken Orthopedic Specialists! As one of the area’s largest orthopedic care practices, the group will have 5 locations in 4 counties from Aiken, SC to Augusta, Thomson, and Waynesboro, GA, employing 12 physicians and more than 100 staff members.
As Augusta-Aiken Orthopedic Specialists, our goal is to expand access to outpatient surgery, cutting-edge technology, and surgical expertise to patients in the Augusta and Aiken areas. With the Aiken surgeons joining the team, we will work together to create innovative orthopedic care delivery models for patients in our local communities, whom we have served for many decades.

At Augusta-Aiken Orthopedic Specialists, our goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible with the merger between our two groups. While there are a couple of changes, most of the details on how and where you receive care will remain the same, including the same great surgeons and expert care delivery we have provided for decades.

New Phone Number for Aiken

Insurance
Accepted insurance plans for each of our physicians will remain the same as they were pre-merger. If you have any questions about your insurance, please contact our Aiken office at 803-649-2250 for assistance.
Medical Records
We will be transitioning to a single medical record system for all of our patients so that we can best serve our patients at all locations and provide comprehensive care.

Will you take my insurance? Yes, Augusta-Aiken Orthopedic Specialists will accept the same insurance plans that are currently accepted by CMI.
