About Jeremy M. Jacobs, MD
Dr. Jeremy Jacobs specializes in total joint replacement, sports medicine and general orthopedics. His practice encompasses total and partial joint replacement for the treatment of advanced arthritis. In addition, he performs advanced arthroscopic reconstruction of the hip, shoulder, knee, and ankle as well as general fracture and trauma care. Dr Jacobs earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon. During his time in the US Army, Dr Jacobs had the honor of treating our injured troops and the elite warfighter’s complex injuries providing him with a vast array of challenging cases. Dr Jacobs and his wife, Natalie, are excited to return to Augusta and raise their four children in the CSRA while serving the local community they now call home.

Dr. Jeremy Jacobs is a great doctor. I was referred to him because i was having problems with my right knee. He examined and diagnosed my problem and gave me my options. He recommended i have my knee scoped so i did, he performed the procedure beautifully and i am completely on my way to full recovery. I know he probably helps with other problems but it was my knee he helped me with and he has my highest recommendations!!Update: had to have some injections done in both knees, Dr. Jacobs took care of it like always and the whole visit was very well done! As before i still highly recommend him if you need joint surgery or just a consultation!!

We went to Dr Jacob’s for a second opinion about post op knee pain. He knew exactly what to do to help diagnose what was going on. We were told by her previous orthopedic surgeon that she was just being an over dramatic teenager. Turns out she had a pretty significant meniscus tear. The hardest working Dr ive ever seen! Dr Jacobs has been my dr for a few years now i was in a vehicle accident at work and have multiple injuries to both legs and lower back. He is a thousand miles an hour until he sits down in front of you, then he slows down, listens, is actually concerned, and remembers everything about you and your treatment s, even other drs you are seeing for other issues. I am very thankful because I looked at the appointment time wrong. I got there an hour and a half early. Even though they were eating lunch, they quickly finished and I was in and out in minutes. Everyone there is so accommodating! Dr. Jacobs always explains why and how my problems are. I obviously was so excited to see everyone, I got there real early and was home by my actual appointment time. I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes. I value my time and appreciate my appointment not taking up my entire afternoon. I really don't mind going there. Most importantly, my injection didn't hurt. I was so shocked, I came home and looked at my paperwork from November 29th, 3 months ago to make sure that I received the same medication. I did my research on Dr Jacobs and felt comfortablely secure with my choice. I asked nurses that I knew did not work in his office about his reputation. I asked physical therapists about his medical prowess. I also spoke to two of his former patients. I heard nothing but raves and accolades concerning the care he gives his patients.
