About Nicholas M. Capito, MD, FAAOS
Dr. Capito is Augusta’s only private practice Shoulder & Elbow Specialist. He has spent time working with and training from experts around the world. He treats patients of all ages including your super heroes on the playground, aspiring athletes, weekend warriors, laborers, and elderly with degenerative joint conditions. He specializes in the newest advances in arthroscopic surgery for tendon repair and instability, fracture management, nerve decompression, and total joint replacement of shoulder and elbow. He is the highest volume surgeon for shoulder replacements and rotator cuff repairs in the CSRA. Dr. Capito and his wife were raised in Augusta, and he feels fortunate to give back to this incredible city and surrounding areas.
